Presidential Portraits

Most Presidents wait till the end of their term to have their presidential portraits commissioned. In an effort to bring about change, I am asking you, my fellow Americans, to submit your own artistic rendering of my portrait for a chance to be hung in the halls of the White House.

These drawings were submitted by Tanja K.

Stand Tall Iowa!!!

Dear Iowans,

Tonight as you come together to caucus and gather in the GreggforAmerica group, remember to stand tall, good posture is the backbone of America.

Let me take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your support, your endorsement and for sending us to the White House. I also want to thank you for:

-having the world's largest strawberry.
-being the birthplace of my future colleague, Herbert Hoover, a West Branch native, who was the 31st president of the United States and the first one born west of the Mississippi.
-being home to a statue of the world's largest bullhead fish.
-having the largest Amish community west of the Mississippi River.
-the bridges of Madison County.
-being home to the world's steepest and shortest railway.
-Wright County having the highest percentage of grade-A topsoil in the nation.
-being home to the largest cereal company in the world.
-native son Maynard Reece, the only artist to win the Federal Duck Stamp competition five times.
-Knoxville's National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. the only museum in the country dedicated to preserving the history of sprint car racing. Go Speed Racer, Go Speed Racer, Go Speed Racer Go!
-having the largest Danish settlement in the United States.
-having the highest double track railroad bridge in the world, the Kate Shelley Bridge, is located at Boone.
